Got ignored
DESCRIPTION: Ordered a Corona, and was subsequently ignored for the next 10 minutes, as the bartender waited on more than 6 people at the bar, near me and around me. I stood, and slowly (hoping to be noticed) walked toward the exit. The bartender looked toward me, smiled and turned around. Do you have to be a Bud drinker to get served in this bar? I wonder what would have happended if I asked for a Heineken. A lynching?

DESCRIPTION: This is a great middle eastern restaurant. the food is real authentic. the kabobs are heavenly. don't miss the chicken kabob. it just melts in your mouth.

Great food
DESCRIPTION: Last Saturday I took my family and some friends to Aladdin. We had a great time, althought this wasn't our first time there but it was the first for our american friends. They enjoyed the food, specialy the Shrimp Kebab & the desserts. The live entertainment and the belly dancer was great. I definitely recommend this place to entertain your guests. we are proud to have a place like this that makes us feel at home.

Newton's Premiere Armenian Fare
DESCRIPTION: It is my understanding that this is the best Armenian food to be had in the Boston metro area. Being neither a connoisseur of Armenian food nor a regular customer, I can only give you the average Joe's description of my experience there. The food was decent, not really my cup of tea, but I could see how it would be enjoyable to someone who is a fan of the region. The atmosphere on the other hand was exceptional. It was like stepping out of the Newton suburbs right into the Middle East. The interior is dimly lit and the whole place has a rustic charm. It isn't a joint I intend to frequent, but if you are looking for a unique dining experience, look no further. And where else in Newton can you see live belly dancing?

DESCRIPTION: It's not big on atmosphere, but the Armenian Gourmet serves excellent food - and lots of it. <P> I've never been a big fan of stuffed grape leaves, but the Armenian Gourmet's sarma (lemony grape leaves wrapped around rice and ground meat) won me over. Like most things here, the stuffed grape leaves come on a bed of tasty rice pilaf. <P> We also tried the sauteed beef and the chicken kebab. The chicken kebab (grilled chicken on a bed of rice pilaf) was quite good. The sauteed beef (strips of beef mixed with vegetables, sauteed, and seasoned, served with rice pilaf) was the real standout, though. Definitely give this one a try. <P> Service is friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable. <P> It's a good idea to call before heading over to the restaurant, since they only have one chef, and they're open for limited hours.

Superb
DESCRIPTION: The revival of the former restaurant with the same name and same owners in a new and spectacular location. Terrific cuisine, way above the average at an value price. This is "Gourmet Chinese" at its best. Cozy atmosphere, and superb food preparation/presentation and service. A place to take your "best girl" or maybe the boss. Reasonable but not cheap.

DESCRIPTION: Authentic Asian/Chinese dining. Excellent food and service. Large menu selection including tapas, lunch, dinner and dim sum. Great takeout and dine in. Smoking and non-smoking sections amply separated. Large and beautiful bar area. Private dining rooms for small and large parties. Front entrance for bar/smoking section. Rear entrance for main (non-smoking) dining room. By far, the best Asian/Chinese dining in Hampton Roads.

Excellent Food, Heavenly Dim Sum
DESCRIPTION: We were delighted to find authentic dim sum here while on vacation. We have eaten dim sum in New York City, Philly, San Francisco and Vancouver and this place is definitely a competitor for places you will find in those cities (and beats many of them for quality and for the number of items). It was so good we came everyday during the week we were here and we left with one large and two small coolers filled with dim sum. GREAT STUFF!!!!
DESCRIPTION: This restaurant is located in an area of Fresno that is not highly popular for food. However it is the absolute best Mediterranean food I've had in Fresno. I've tried others and of course, none can compare. The ingredients in the food are very distinct and especially tasty (I wish I knew the secret!!). If it were located in North Fresno, no doubt that there would be a lonnng wait to be served.

For a REAL Taste Treat... Try Stanford's!!!
DESCRIPTION: The first time my friend and I went to Standord's it was only because other places around it were too busy for us to get a parking place... but WOW! We have gone back! The decor and service is excellent! And the bar is in a totally separate section so you don't get the cigarette smoke, etc., floating in while you eat. There is a nice outdoor eating area for sunny weather... very nice booths or tables. The meat is cooked over an open wood fire, with great seasonings and spices. One "hint" -- with your meal only things like cole slaw or cinnamon apples are listed... BUT you CAN get the daily vegetable instead... ours was fresh asparagus! Yum! The herbed chicken is awesome, and portions are quite large. However, you have to pay "extra" for a salad or bread. In my opinion this is just a bit "tacky" especially as you do pay a price for the meal which should include this. (Prices are not bad, however, for such a good restaurant.) Service has ALWAYS been wonderful; waiters and waitresses very friendly and helpful... and available! We love it!!

great place on the southend
DESCRIPTION: We've been to Stanford's about 8 times over the past two years. It's consistently good and reasonable as well. The high-backed booths offer a reasonable amount of privacy, it's like a modern "Steak n' Ale" but without the salad bar. Great wine and beer selection, too.
