DESCRIPTION: The food is more American Chinese food. A ton of dishes to choose from...from the basic brown fried rice and beef with pea pods to the exotic spicy dishes. Excellent food and service...a relaxed ambiance and family friendly. Lunch specials are as low as 4 dollars and more than you can eat believe me. I give it an A.

Quality Food
DESCRIPTION: The Golden Abacus never lets you down. This is the only Chinese restaurant that I recommend to friends or strangers looking for a great meal. Consistantly high quality. Hot from the kitchen and plenty of items to choose from.

DESCRIPTION: If you want food which satisfies your gut, leaves you conscience clear, your mind bright, and your wallet intact, this is the place. Sure, it's a store front, so it won't win any Valentine's Day ambiance awards, but the food will bring you back time and again.

Major Mistake - Left w/o dinner and $45 poorer
DESCRIPTION: What was once a great restaurant has become the worst. We arrived just after 6pm giving us nearly 2 hours before our 8pm show at the Wang (a 5 minute walk from the restaurant). There was no wait for a table as the restaurant wasn't very busy. The wine and appetizers (not sure if it was real lobster or the fake stuff in the lobster spring rolls) were served reasonable quickly, and we ordered dinner within 15 minutes of arriving. We never saw our waitress again. The other waitress kept telling us our dinners were almost ready, but after an hour and a half of that we decided to leave (showtime was in 20 minutes, we were not about to shovel the food in even if it did arrive at that moment, which it didn't). The manager couldn't be bothered, and, without apologies, they had the nerve to charge us for the wine and appetizers. Oh, by the way, the bill came out quickly enough. We will never go to any Jae's ever again.
