DESCRIPTION: Impossible to leave hungry, Outback offers very generous portions to go with top-notch hospitality. Everything on the menu tastes even better than imagined. Even the french onion soup was a meaty meal in itself! I could barely finish my Drover's Platter (BBQ ribs and chicken) by the time it came. Also, I will ONLY get ribs from here. They are the best - tender and falling off the bone. The waitress then asked, "Got room for desert?". I wanted to laugh but was too full so I simply smiled gracefully as a shook no. Go to Outback and you'll have no worries mate.

DESCRIPTION: Went to this little hotspot for the first time the other day and was thoroughly impressed. My neighbors have been raving about it and rightly so, they have a cute little place and a very solid menu. Best latte I've had.

Slow Service for Mediocre Food
DESCRIPTION: Unappealing atmosphere (small and dark with cracked vinyl seating) greets you when you walk in the door. Has the feel of a take-out place that got too big for its britches. Food was VERY slow to come out (don't ever order the calzone!) and then was mediocre quality at best. Try Laki's Greek Restaurant or Lorito's Pizza instead for a smaller restaurant feel with good food and service.

The usual steakhouse
DESCRIPTION: Since it's a chain, most people probably know what to expect. Parking can be a problem during peak periods. The wait can be up to an hour with really no place to sit, since the bar is usually crowded. They give you short range pagers that allow you to move around somewhat. Since the bar is located in the middle of the facility, and is open, the place can get very noisy. Everybody is friendly.

DESCRIPTION: What do people see in this place? The steaks we've had were all tough and not flavorable even though it was obvious they had been tenderized. There's MUCH better to be had.

The food was great, but that is where it ended...
DESCRIPTION: b/c once we were done went towards the front door a smell was noticed! All the way out the door and into the parking lot, well it was the first time any of us had been there and that is when we saw where it was coming from...the sewer cap in the middle of the parking lot, just then someone who had been there many times before drove in and parked. He told us that that at that time of day, late afternoon/early evening, the drains in the kitchen overflow and this is what happens. Needless, to we have never gone back again and doubt we ever will!!!

Worst Birthday Meal Ever!!
DESCRIPTION: I love fried fish but don't eat it often because I'm trying to live healthy and maintain my weight (baby bloomer blues). For my birthday I asked my hubby to take me out for fried fish and we chose Ned Kellys. Maybe if I were drunk I'd not notice the fish was spoilt but, I don't drink. The first bite and . . . well if you've ever had spoilt fish you know how it tasted. It smelled VERY bad, too. I called the waiter over and asked them to smell the fish. They did and said "oh, we'll bring you a fresh piece". My family ate their dinner. My meal didn't arrive. We finished, we were ready to pay our bill (no discount off my rotten fish which had STILL not been replaced)and I was about to say "let us just pay for the salad and leave" but they brought me my dinner. I asked them to wrap it up and we left. Really rotten experience (in more ways than one). Won't go back. Warn anybody not to eat sober, and never order the fish!!

Great Steaks!
DESCRIPTION: I have always had an excellent experience at this restaurant - food, service, etc. You can count on the steaks, chops, etc., and LOVE their house dressing and baked sweet potato! My only complaint is that the wait is so long - but since they now take reservations . . . its all good!

The Best of Times..The Worst of Times!!!
DESCRIPTION: The Worst of times is visiting Outback on Mother's Day!!! Even with "Call ahead seating", we had to wait 35 minutes. But now the Best of times. Our harried surver did an absolutely phenominal job. He was attentive, extremely knowledgable concerning menu items. And made clear recommendations. The steaks were superb, the veggies were steamed, tasty and crisp. The dessert was HUGE!!! For a franchise operation, Outback is a great place to visit. We'll return again

The Standard Outback..Good Food and Service
DESCRIPTION: It seems that all Outbacks around the country are on a par. They are all uniformly good. This one is no exception. Nice ambiance and good service. Steaks are very good: equal to the Texas Roadhouse and better than The Cattle Baron, far better than Cattleman's and, perhaps, better than the Double Eagle. Dinner salads are very good, but not exceptional. Potatoes OK. The new item "Bronzed Chicken" had a yellow curry flavor and was very good... but a little goes a long way. All-in-all, an enjoyable dining experience at a reasonable price.
