"Dorothy's Goulash" from Bauern-Stube Authentic German Restaurant, Edgewood, FL
1 large onion 2 tablespoons butter 1 pound ground beef 1 cup macaroni 1 cup tomato soup 3/4 cup water salt and pepper Saute onions in butter. Add ground beef and rown. Season while onion and meat are browning. Cook macaroni. Stir macaroni into meat mixture, add tomato soup and water. Simmer in heavy skillet, covered 15 minutes. Serve with lettuce salad and cornbread.

Truly German
DESCRIPTION: The couple that owns the restaurant are so sweet. They make you feel like you are dining at a favorite family members home. I loved the bratwurst and sourkraut. My dad's favorite was the many German beers available. My 7 year old son loves the Rueben.

Great Beer. Lots of Toys.
DESCRIPTION: We had a fantastic evening here. While we dined on delicious German home-cooking, our 2 year-old played with a mountain of toys in the corner. He was busy for 2 hours and only stopped to eat some dessert with us. The beer was delicious, too. If you are looking for a cozy place that reminds you of your grandparent's mountain retreat, this is the place.
