Excellent place to eat or drink
DESCRIPTION: I was in Aurora for 4 days, and was at Walter Payton's Roundhouse every evening for a drink and dinner. If you go to Aurora, you must visiting Walter Payton's Roundhouse.

Very Bad Experience
DESCRIPTION: I was there on Friday 6-20-03 for dinner with friends. I got totally soaked, I mean drenched, from a FULL tray of beers after the waitress dumped her tray on me. My one shoe, belt is ruined, watch, pens, cell sticky from the homemade beer there. The assistant mgr. said to give her the cleaning bill for shirt and pants and she would take a round of drinks off the tab. Dinner was well over $100.00. I would have expected a cut or free dinner after an experience that ruined our whole evening. We ate there almost monthly but never again!

Great experience
DESCRIPTION: Four of us went to Walter Paytons for dinner before attending a play at the Paramount. It was our first time there. We were gratiously seated and our drinks, appetizer and dinners were served in a timely manner. The food was great. The bill was reasonable and the whole experience makes us want to return. Thinking of bringing the family for a celebration dinner after graduation this year.

Highly Recomended
DESCRIPTION: The Best bar and restaurant that I've been at since I transfered to chicago from seattle. I like homemade beers and theirs just excellent. the ambience is just superb. After a days work its just nice to just hang around the bar wherein bar tender treat you like a special guest plus you get to meet people that shares the same sentiments.

BEST KEPT SECRET IN PEORIA
DESCRIPTION: OneWorld is very non-Peoria with an eclectic menu and decor. Fresh, hot appetizers, sandwiches, great baked goods and coffee make this "coffeehouse" so much more. A favorite hangout for Bradley U students and also other locals who enjoy non-franchise eating!

Catering to whom?
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I dined at Johnny's on Saturday (November 26th). The remodeling from the old Roadhouse is very nice. The atmosphere was good as well. The service was extremely SLOW. It should not take 5 minutes to get a bottle of beer and a coke. The first beer was served with a frosted glass, but all subsequent beers were served without a new glass. We sat in the smoking section and our ashtray was NEVER cleaned out while we dined (not very good). We both had filets (I had the full size and my wife had the petite). My wife ordered hers medium-well. When she cut into her steak, the inside was BRIGHT RED. When our waitress finally returned, we showed her the steak and asked if it would take long to fix. She stammered a bit and then said she HOPED not. No apology. My steak was ordered well-done and butterflied. My steak was burnt on the outside and had some fat/gristle (not standard for a good filet). We decided that due to the poor service and quality of food, we were not going to spend any more money here for coffee and dessert. As we ate, the host walked around and never once came to see how our dinner was, but only stopped at ONE table to check their experience. As we left, the host and hostess were standing by the front desk. We received no thank you or good night (not very professional for a restaurant that looks to be geared to a nice formal-type restaurant).

There's much they need to correct before we'd come back
DESCRIPTION: Stopped by for drinks and a snack on a Friday night two weeks ago and our party was glad that we hadn't committed to dinner there. The cocktails were uniformly weak and watery enough that one member of our trio suggested that we look for barnacles on the ice cubes. The (cold) Guinness from the tap was thin and flat, and to the venue's benefit quickly replaced with a different bottled selection when we commented on it. We got as far as an appetizer before giving up. When our garlic chicken wings arrived, they were pale and had very little flavor. It turns out that all of the flavor was sitting in a sad little orange puddle on the waxed paper at the bottom of the basket. After trying to use the runny accumulation of sauce as a dip, we finished off the celery and decided to head elsewhere. I really hate to give any place a negative review, but both the bar and the kitchen seemed to go out of their way to earn it.
