Tremendous service, excellent food.
DESCRIPTION: It was very busy when my wife and I arrived. We went to the bar. The bar tender mixed us some top shelf cocktail. And he juggled the bottles like in that movie 'Cocktail' with Tom Cruise. I had crabcakes and a sloppy joe. It was fantabulous!

A touch of class in Lesueur
DESCRIPTION: This place makes the best hot beef sandwich I have encountereed in the past 5 years. The ambience is sheer sex appeal and the staff is great. I really enjoyed myself there. If you go, ask for a man named Jim. He has a Boston accent. He is a hoot, unless you catch him while he is sober.

Ribs aren't their only specialty
DESCRIPTION: Baker's Ribs has THE BEST sausage. Sausage isn't what you would normally consider when thinking of barbeque. The smokey-spicy taste is phenomenal. Also, the new, Beer-can Chicken is so moist and tender, we buy extra just so we will have leftovers! Oh, yes. The Ribs and Beef are good too!

Slooow cooked food
DESCRIPTION: Very good fall-off-the-bones pork rib BBQ. The meat portions are generous and the sauce is served on the side. applewood is used to slowly BBQ good quality, no fat, hand-rubbed ribs. The sweet potato fries are crispy and excellent flavor again with no grease. You can not find better ribs in Kansas City.
