Simply wonderful, wonderfully simple
DESCRIPTION: Take a 300-year-old, sprawling adobe hacienda, fill it with candlelight, fine food and excellent service, and you have Casa Vieja, a magical place.

Keeps getting better
DESCRIPTION: We are from upstate New York and were visiting friends who told us to eat here. Food and service was excellent. Chef White was not in but the new Sous Chef Jeff Trent came out and talked to us. He made us feel at home. Great job.

DESCRIPTION: Went on a Thursday evening, 8:45-ish, late yes, but still paying customers. The restaurant is in Corrales, yet no Corrales Wines served. Crab cakes were good and that's about it. For the price, the food was terrible. My boyfriend ordered mussels which on the menu stated, "served on a bed of pasta". It was basically a bowl with mussels and some boiled penne thrown on top - no sauce. Several times he got a mouthful of broken shell and there were many closed mussels as well. My beef was mediocre, definitely not worth $29. Wait staff was in jeans and polo tees - not what I would have expected. No table cloths, candles on the tables etc. The other wait staff proceed to do their closing work around us very noisly. We were seated next to a fireplace, which would have been nice if there were actually a fire going. The music playing was some strange 60's oldies. Spent almost $100 on so-so food and NO ambiance. WILL NEVER GO BACK.
