DESCRIPTION: I was priveleged to dine at the Blue Hen while staying in Florence. The food was exceptionally good, the service fabulous and friendly, the ambiance so wonderful (we met & visited with other diners!) that I have recommended it to friends visiting the coast. Simply a "must do" place on the coast. Kudos to the owners and staff!

I dream of the porridge

DESCRIPTION: We are from Edmond, but have always prefered the Guthrie Del Rancho. The one that was once in Edmond was very nice, but the salad dressings were just better up there. We stopped eating there a few years ago when the management changed over. We assumed the young man who had been running for all those years had moved on to a bigger restaurant. While we were at the Lazy E arena we heard that he was back so we gave it another try. This place was better than before! The service was back to what it used to be and VERY clean although they seem to be updating this store. We grew up with Del Rancho and the Guthrie store has always been one of their best!

A haven for this hungry traveller
DESCRIPTION: I stumbled upon Joe's late one night while attending a convention at the nearby convention center. Luckily, Joe's was open late, or it might have been room service for me that night. Instead, I had a memorable pasta dish that still makes my mouth water. I'm looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu next time I'm in town!

Oh, please!
DESCRIPTION: I remember this institution from way back when. However, when we recently dined there we were very disappointed. The food was really ordinary. The elderly waiters still wear tuxedos. Heavy Italian food, not particularly flavorful. We may have simply outgrown Original Joe's. Our memory of it was better than the current reality. Convenient to the light rail and downtown attractions.
