DESCRIPTION: I would love to be able to get a calorie count on your food. I go there 3 days a week and I order roast beef, broccoli and sweet potatoes it is delicious. I love your cajun chicken but I don't like it with rice.

Started out to be good, but....
DESCRIPTION: on third visit, things were very different. We found the food on 2 of the five "hot" tables to be luke warm. After trying the Steak twice, finding it luke warm on both trips, I asked to see the manager. I was told that perhaps I had taken a cold piece of food by mistake. He offered to heat a couple of pieces of steak for me, which he did. However he at no time looked for problems with the warmers at the table or to try the food himself. Further... At $8.49 a pop, we expect to have a full offering of what Barnhill's has to offer. For instance..... there was no brown gravy to pour over the mashed potatoes. We were told that they ran out. The dessert bar left a lot to be desired. Ice cream machine was broken, and the chocolate cream cake was frozen. The overall dessert bar was messy and unattractive. Overall, I would say that we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Nice
DESCRIPTION: This restaurant, new in Ocala, offers a clean and spacious dining area, affordable, good tasting food and fair service. The food selection was very good for the money, and the food itself tasted and looked good. The dessert area was clean, however, the layout is a little confusing with similar appearing deserts side by side, but not clearly identified. The service was fair, but could be a little more attentive on drink refills, etc. Although, when I visited this restaurant, both times, it was extremely busy. All in all, I would say that this Barnhill's offers an enjoyable dining experience.

Poor Service
DESCRIPTION: We went to the Lakeland Barnhill's for the first time this evening and will not be returning. We were totally ignored and treated rudely by the clerk at the front counter. When we asked what the procedure was she wouldn't look at us or acknowledge us. When we complained to the manager on duty, we got nowhere. Perhaps Barnhill's need to remember: You only get one chance to make a good first impression. They failed miserably.

Utter Trash
DESCRIPTION: This is possibly some of the worst food I have ever had the displeasure to eat. Everything is well overcooked and served cold. The night I brought my family they had peal and eat shrimp and ribs. They had a medium size bowl for the shrimp and the line was ridicules. The rib tasted like they had been boiled and covered in ketchup. Unfortunately Ocala if full of cheep old people who thing all you can eat is a good deal regardless of quality. If I must go to another all you can eat place I would stick with Golden Coral or some of the better quality Chinese. But general speaking most of the all you can eat places are low quality, and Barn hills tops the list.

Great place to take the kids
DESCRIPTION: This place is an all you can eat Buffet. There is a good selection and always something a little differant. Things like whole fried catfish, carved ham, baked and fried fish, and lots of good desserts. Its fun to take the kids here and turn them loose! This is not fine dining... but its a great place for a fast, reasonably priced meal.

A good day gone bad!!!
DESCRIPTION: My family and I went to Buddy's Freddy's for a nice perfect meal. How wrong we were. When we walked into the door and was being sitted we had to dodge a falling light, and this started the bad night. We went to the restroom to wash our hands, they were definitely not presentable at all. Well to say the least the pudding was curdled, the bbq ribs were hard, but the service was ok, but could have been better. We come to you because, when we complained they didnot care absolutly at all, so we left still hungry and picked something up from McD's. I hope that you will respond to this.

DESCRIPTION: Some of the food is hot while some is lukewarm. French fries potatoes - cold; chicken strips - cold, piled too high to keep warm; bake fish - hot, good; salad bar - excellent; dessert bar - always in terrible shape - poor.
