DESCRIPTION: I love Rumbi Island Grill! From them moment I walk in the door...I feel like I am in Hawaii or some other tropical island. The food is amazing! The people are cute and friendly and the prices are soooo reasonable! Love this place.

DESCRIPTION: I have tried many of the dishes on the menu and most are very, very good. The food appears to be prepared fresh daily and the portions are generous. Service is excellent and prompt. Restaurant was clean and well decorated in a Carribean style. Pricing is very reasonable. Homemade soups in fall/winter and fresh fruit in the spring/summer.

I love Carribean Grill
DESCRIPTION: I grew up in Arlington, but I live in Boston now. The one thing that my sister (in Florida) and I agree that we MUST do when we get back to DC is GO TO THE CARRIBEAN GRILL! I often complain that if Boston had one, the city would be complete.

Great Food
DESCRIPTION: The Pulled Spiced Pork with yellow rice is simply awesome. The chicken -- which is roasted over a open fire in the restaurant -- is very tasteful, as well. Oh and the chicken and beef empanadas are good, too.

DESCRIPTION: I go there about once a week. I'm a vegetarian so the options are a little more limited, but they have great spinach burritos, vegetable empanandas (sometimes) and great side dishes. I always get the beans and white rice with the yellow sauce. The spinach, new potatoes and fried yuca are also very excellent. The service can be a bit slow, especially during the lunch rush. And please note that they only take cash.

Best place to eat in Falls Church
DESCRIPTION: I just moved to the area about three weeks ago. I have eaten at some really nice and expensive places and this place is by far the best place to eat. The food is more than reasonably priced. The Jerk chicken is so good the taste goes all the way down to the bone. It is a must try when you are in the area.

Great Food, Limited Menu
DESCRIPTION: I have lunch regularly at Bahama's (Caeser Salad and Conch Soup). Once in a while I'll forgo my usual for a unique special of the day. One such special was pan fried scallops with a whipped sweet potato side. I have not seen it on the menu for a while, but will order it again if I see it. Beverage: Bahama's makes the best Arnold Palmer in the Valley.

Never Again
DESCRIPTION: I had their house specialty today - slow roasted pork. There was very little pork and what there was was fatty, gristly, or tough. (It was served with a serated knife.) At $12.99 for lunch, I wish I had gone across the street to Ambrosia or further up the Pike to Kuzine or Fontina Grill.

Always a Treat
DESCRIPTION: I've been going to the Cuban Corner for about ten years now. I try to make it into Rockville at least every six months and I always stop there on my way home for a cuban sandwich and a side of fried yuca. The service is always friendly, though the restaurant is usually packed and busy. I've had ropa vieja and black beans and rice there also. The food is always good.

DESCRIPTION: I was dissapointed because in another site It (Havana Bar & Rest.) was listed as having Cuban Cuisine which I do love. But as soon as I sat down and opened the menu ... There was NOTHING even close to Cuban Cuisine. Got up and Left. Sorry. It just really got to Me that it listed on one of the websights as having Cuban Cuisine and then when I got there ... It felt like false advertising. Sorry.

The best
DESCRIPTION: Here is the problem with these advisory websites, thye rarely hit the local spots. By far Hula's is number one with the locals, and when I go on a trip I always want to eat where the locals hang out. Also the only hip restaurant in the county. Great vibe, cool wait staff, great asian/hawaiian influenced food and local prices. Yea, go to one of the top listed restaurants and get ripped off. Go to Hula's and have the time of your trip. I was in there last evening, the ATT Pebble Beach Pro Am has just kicked off. Huey Lewis was in there with a bunch of guys having dinner, then Emmit Smith came in with some guy and sat at the bar. Last month when I was ther Clint Eastwood was sitting with his with and a few other poeple. My hip waitress said he eats there all the time. They should move this place to the top of the list

Sweet Potato fries. Mmmm...
DESCRIPTION: Great decor and ambiance. Plenty of knick-knacks to look at while waiting for your food. The staff is a "younger" staff and very personable. A good selection of unusual dishes on the menu. Plenty to choose from if you're a vegetarian. I had a tofu teriyaki wrap with plantain -- VERY good. I will definitely go back to try the rest of the dishes on the menu. Price is very reasonable. Two main dishes, an appetizer and sodas for around $20. Can't beat that.
