DESCRIPTION: There are two dining areas in the Hotel Du Pont: The Green Room and the The Brandywine Room I have eaten brunch in The Green Room and let me tell you it was wonderful; the atmosphere is amazing the food was great (I to this day compare any pastry they I ever eat to the divine creations I was received there). It was a combination of table service for a main course and buffet for other stuff. <P> I have eaten dinner in The Brandywine Room. Finely carved dark wood makes for great ambiance. The food was good but I would probably give it four stars. <P> On the whole I would call this place is a very good restaurant, pricey but worth it. I don t think it quite hits the amazing mark that one might call five stars.

DESCRIPTION: Experienced the most superb and delighted 5th anniversary dinner with my wife Barbara. The atmosphere of the magnificent Green Room that quickly brought us the luxury flavor of the Du Pont, and the soft piano with the excellent touch of some classic modern melodies invited us to dance, and to feel ourselves in the highest romanticism that can drizzle from our souls. All these together with the finest cuisine that was presented in fabulous plates punctually served with the greatest decorations and delicate taste of a French gourmet, allowed us to dream and turn that in an unforgettable precious moment of our lives.

This Is What Fine Dining Should Be.
DESCRIPTION: I have eaten here for years, and the service and food has always maintained the highest standards. All the dishes are done in the classical style, and the wait staff is exceptional. Come for the environment, the room is unbelievable.
