Continental cuisine with a Japanese flair
DESCRIPTION: For years, Joli Kobe has successfully melded elements of classic Continental cuisine with Japanese tastes and sensibilities. Their to-die-for baked goods have a tremendous following among the in-the-know of Atlanta's northside, as well as anyone else who tries the breads and pastries. The breads are the cornerstones of the lunch menu: rich croissants and toothsome baguettes, along with hearty sandwich breads. And now the Bistro features a selection of sumptious salads and pastas.

The best we have, but could be better
DESCRIPTION: After decades of mostly fast food restaurants, Smyrna locals flock to Cafe Michel to savor simple food with a continental flair in a quaint cafe setting. Come for lunch and dinner and enjoy everything from comfort food to seafood with a flair. The starters are excellent, the Lavazza coffee always fresh, and the portions generous. Breakfast is standard fare, but the kitchen somehow manages to serve toast and muffins that are at once charred and soggy. Service is a detraction and is not on par with the food, ranging from sometimes friendly to outright inattentive. Staff squabbles on a recent visit made for a disappointing meal.

Outstanding dining experience @ Kurt's
DESCRIPTION: Excellent Wine Selection, especially the German varieties! Foods are extraordinary in taste and presentation! Outstanding service! Staff are well trained and knowlegdeable of the menu and can make outstanding recommendations to those who might be experiencing German cuisine for the first time! Prices, very resonable! Overall, one of the Atlanta area's best kept secrets.

Yummy and Reasonable
DESCRIPTION: Babette's is a little off-the-beaten path in the southern reaches of Virginia-Highlands, which may account for the reasonable prices, especially for Sunday brunch. I have never had a bad meal here, in a half-dozen visits.

Elegant Dining in Gainesville, GA
DESCRIPTION: Here, indeed, is an astonishing medley of delicious choices for lunch and for dinner! Absolutely the finest cuisine in Gainesville! From the delicate and perfectly prepared veal schnitzel to the excellent Reuben sandwich. I could go on and on .. but instead, I am off to Tea Tyme On The Square for another fantastic meal ! (Their soups are incredibly delicious!!)

Great dining
DESCRIPTION: This is our special occasions place. The food and service are always excellent. And evenings the wonderful old songs performed on piano and bass (or one of several other instruments the owner plays) provides a delightful atmosphere of friendly elegance. Highly recommended.
