Hamburgers
DESCRIPTION: I really enjoy the custard and am expecially fond of the the chocolate concrete with cashews. However, the hamburgers, although flavorful, often has hard pieces of something in the meat.

DESCRIPTION: A cool walk-up window on 39th Street with the best hot dogs that I have ever tasted. The ice cream is outstanding too!

HORRIBLE SERVICE
DESCRIPTION: We have visited Angie's a handful of times. The last two were really awful, the most recent having been the worst. We ordered two drinks, one being an Italian ice, the other a shake with two flavors. The young man working was distractedly taking our order, and rang us up with a total of $7.99! The Italian ice was under $2, and the shake was under $3. I called it to my husband's attention as he went to pay, and he asked for the receipt. We examined the receipt and pointed out to the young man that we had only ordered two drinks. He was extremely rude, and kept insisting that we'd ordered three. He would not refund our money, nor correct his error. We refused the two incorrect drinks, so we ended up paying $7.99 for one Italian ice. I will NEVER go back, and I have written the management a letter demanding my money back. Who knows if I will see a cent of it.

DESCRIPTION: The only problem I can see is with to go or pick up orders. The boxes and bags don't make sense. When you try to carry them it's hard when your driving because you have to hold the box. Otherwise if you don't then you'll end up with a lap full of grease. The food and service is great it's just that I'm not that motivated to pick up carryout orders when it's too much trouble. You should be able to pick up your food and set it up right in a bag and not have to worry about a puddle of grease. I still love the food but not to go.

Love it!!!
DESCRIPTION: This is by far my favorite place to eat lunch. The food is wonderful and the staff is pleasant. The tables and restrooms are clean and the big screen tv is always tuned to something good. I always get the Rock Island- steak, cheese, onions and green pepper all on a toasted bun. I also get fries and sometimes custard from the Custard Caboose part of the resturaunt.

DESCRIPTION: No wonder this place has been in business so long, I first ate here in 84. The only reason I don't go here more is its location and the crowds at lunchtime, but it is worth the wait and the trip if you got time.

Serving up mmm mmm good for years
DESCRIPTION: I have been frequenting this little slice of heaven for years now and I have yet to have a better Philly-steak in the KC area. The fries go better with cheese! The only improvement I would like to see are the unwieldy carryout sacks.

Bsst Sandwich in KC
DESCRIPTION: Get a "Rock, a fry, and a soda." The fries are truly the best in town, and I think the Rock Island (with cheese, grilled onions and green peppers) is the best sandwich in town.

Still good but they've changed
DESCRIPTION: I just went today for the first time in a while, and it's not the same. The main difference is the french fries. They used to be called Tuxedo Taters which were big wedges, breaded and deep fried. The perfect complement to the sandwich. Now they're called Tuxedo Fries, which are just plain old french fries without much flavor. The sandwiches are still pretty good, though.

DESCRIPTION: While I have not actually been to Adrian's, I have had lunch delivered to work several times, with delightful results. My recommendation is the chicken salad on a croissant, extra alfalfa sprouts please. If chicken salad is not your cup of tea, they have many other sandwiches to choose from, and you can get a whole sandwich, bag of chips, and an out of this world white chocolate macadamian nut cookie for around seven bucks. I would recommend Adrian's to anyone looking for a delicious alternative to fast food or sandwich shop chains.

i wish i wasnt dieting
DESCRIPTION: I am extremely impressed with the quality of the food from Adrians Cafe. I found the place on accident, and decided to branch out for a new sandwich and soup. The prices are great, and the food is fresh and well worth it. The line moves well, and the workers were polite. There only needs to be more restaurants. The soups and cookies (all desserts) are baked from scratch everyday.
