Great place!
DESCRIPTION: I had never tried gelato before, probably because I don't care for ice cream. What a nice surprise! This stuff is delicious. The owners are helpful and friendly; very pleasant to do business with. This is a must stop when downtown!

Friendly Service and Good!
DESCRIPTION: After scouting out potential spots to view the upcoming fourth of July fireworks, Tucson's Local Couple stopped in for a bit of gelato. After trying a small taste of this, and a taste of that, all offered freely with descriptions of what was in that particular flavor, we finally settled on our choices: a small with chocolate hazelnut and tiramisu (small gets two flavors) and a medium (three flavors) with chocolate hazelnut, Romeo and Juliet, and dark chocolate. All were excellent, and while we ate we chatted with one of the owners who gave us pointers as to where to find gelato back in our neck of the woods. Naturally, when we head back to Silver, we'll head back to Alotta Gelato for our fix of gelato.

Delicious and Different!
DESCRIPTION: Welove it! It is filling! You think you can eat a large...stick with the smallest size! This stuff is filling compared to regular ice cream. We think the service is great..however we have several family members who have received very poor and even down right rude service from both the owner and his wife. In fact, they will not go with us to eat there anymore...which is too bad for us and really too bad for Alotta...as a customer poorly treated speaks louder than one who has been treated well. Be careful!

DESCRIPTION: They have great gelato! The owner was very kind and helpful, after a quick lesson in gelato he filled up our small order cups to the very tops with great flavors! Everyone in our group loved it and I will stop there everytime I am going through Silver!

DESCRIPTION: Owners are friendly most of the time and offer free samples. Product is outstanding. I am hooked. Also no comparison to "ice cream" either. Worth a special trip downtown for this stuff. Highly recommended.

Can't Ask For Better.....
DESCRIPTION: Last year a couple of my classmates were talking about Alotta Gelato. In the past I had trusted their recommendations and tried various hangouts. However, many, if not all were a disappointment. This time I knew things would be different and they were!!! I am now a frequent customer. Mitch and Starr are great people and very friendly! This is without a doubt the best place in Silver. I should know, I've lived here 15 years!!!!

You think Mickey D's is dirty?????
DESCRIPTION: I don't know how many times I have gone to DQ with hopes of a nice dessert, and been so disapointed. The drive-thru is so slow that when you finally do get to the window, your made-when-you-ordered ice cream cone is floating. Well, don't go through the drive thru you say. The main dining room is so disgusting you will lose your appetite before you reach the counter. This place needs to be torn down and reconstructed, I fear it is beyond repair. The final catch-22? The average age of help in there is 16; good to see young people working, bad if they are in charge of running the place.

Avoid this restaurant!
DESCRIPTION: I have to agree with the previous poster. This fast food restaurant is horrible. The food is horrible and the restaurant is very dirty. The best thing for the manager to do is to close down DQ and renovate it.

The food is not good at all!
DESCRIPTION: Yes this place has a tendency to look like a dump. But lets forget about the fact that it is dirty. Instead, lets focus on the quality of the food. The food that DQ serves tastes old and reheated. The manager needs to hire older people and fire all of the teeny boppers. I believe that Dairy Queen's slogan is "Something Different", this location should adopt the slogan "Something Disgusting"
