DESCRIPTION: We live in the neighborhood and eat at the Gables Diner frequently. Breakfasts are terrific. Great salads - especially my personal favorite the Grilled Sesame Chicken Salad. Comfortable, friendly, casual atmosphere.

DESCRIPTION: This place is nothing more then a bad diner with average food. I have eaten here for years and in the past year it seems like nobody cares. The waitresses are not friendly and nobody will crack a smile. I ordered the Alfie burger which is a hambuger and a slice of ham on a triple decker bun. The Hambuger was raw (cold center) and the ham was cold. I did (for the first time ever) ask them to fix it and you would think I had just insulted her? I just wanted an edible sandwich. This was not my first unpleasant experience here... but it sure was my last!

great little joint
DESCRIPTION: I have been going here while visiting Florida for the past 20 years. This place just gets better. It isn't fancy. But, good consistent food and drink. My mom likes the half priced drinks at the early bird times. Great burgers. Great prices.

DESCRIPTION: Been to Flashback for breakfast and lunch. Its wonderful staff is very frendly and courteous. The food great; they have a chef Ernie who is a scholar in his food.

Not much of a diner but a great spot for lunch or dessert
DESCRIPTION: Located in the Peabody hotel. The B-Line Diner a great spot for a quick sandwich and other casual fare. (In Orlando the "Beeline" is State Road 528, a toll road which was built in the 60's to connect Orlando to Cape Canaveral and NASA's space program - nicknamed the Beeline presumably due to its straight line to the coast and highway speed.) The B-line's unexpected prize is its sinfully delicious bakery with great cakes, pies, cookies, ice cream and other confections. It is one of the few gourmet bakeries to be found anywhere near Orlando. Hotel prices, but worth it.
