DESCRIPTION: We went as a group of 7 for our boss's Christmas present to us last Thursday the 12th at noon and the food was cold, the waitress was not helpful. She acted as if we were disturbing her. We asked for saucers for our hush puppies and were told that the saucers were being used in other rooms with other parties. I have never been so disappointed in what I thought was a class act restaurant. We will not go there again as there are too many other places where you feel welcome.

DESCRIPTION: I have eaten at Drusilla's many times over the past few years. The hush puppies brought out as a complimentary appetizer are grade A good. I've nearly filled up on them alone a few times. Try it for lunch, but get there early, it is a popular place.

Service is poor, nothing classy here
DESCRIPTION: I took my mom to Drusilla's on a Friday evening (with my husband and my two children) and left terribly disappointed. Our drink glasses sat empty after we asked our waitress twice to refill them and another waitress once to remind our first waitress. The place was so freezing cold that my son's teeth were chattering...and the tables were so close together that the servers kept bumping my chair as they walked by. Even the hostess ignored us on the way in...my advice to all is to just go somewhere else. Several places in Baton Rouge serve food just a delicious and at least other restaurants act like your welcome there and not bothering them.

Not what it was made out to be, even from just a few years ago
DESCRIPTION: This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. It also appeared to be the worst dining experience about 1/2 the other diners had ever had as well. We waited over an hour for a cold plate that was drowned in a dressing my wife hadn't ordered and a bowl of gumbo that was cold and had a distinct film formed on top of it. A cold plate and a hot soup should be up quick, but we waited over an hour before cancelling and leaving--at which point the disastrous food arrived. Service wasn't any better. At least 1 or 2 other tables around us had to speak to the manager as well--to little end. Don't waste the time.

DESCRIPTION: They catered for volunteers at Parker Colliseum for the Katrina Animal Rescue team, 2 times a day for 7 days a week for weeks. The food was excellent and hot.

DESCRIPTION: I used to love this place (many years ago), until I recently went for lunch with out of town friends (Katrina evacuees). The salad appeared to have been made out of a bag of (beginning to brown) lettuce. Not much else. Our other dishes were equally disappointing. The service was awful. The hostess appeared annoyed that we were there. Never again!

The Best Shrimp Remoulade on the Planet

DESCRIPTION: My wife and I usually visit your resturant in Ruther Glen, Va. friendly service and great chicken. I recently took a group of my employees to the one on Brook Rd. in Richmond (maybe Glen Allen) Va. for lunch. We waited for 45 minutes for our meal to be served and the chicken was terrible. It was not cooked right and was greasy. We would have sent it back but didn't want to wait any longer for our meal. I mentioned it to the hostess when I paid the check and she said she was sorry. No other offer was made.

not quite worst meal
DESCRIPTION: Have enjoyed your food since 1960's @ your store just north of Richmond, Va. Have eaten @ store on Midlothian Pike until it got dirty and bad management. Have enjoyed your new store on Hull Street until just a few hours ago. 1) 2 of your help talking, ignoring me until I asked IF they could seat me. 2) Place filthy 3) Asked for water @ once so I could take medication 4) Received coffee and order, no water. 5) Asked again 6) Syrup pitcher had no syrup, had to track down someone to bring a pitcher with syrup. 7) Pitcher, with syrup running down sides and caked on sides. DIRTY 8)Had to call 2 different waitresses to get coffee refills. 9) NOT what I call a nice Sunday lunch for me and my wife. 10) Still stop and enjoy your store in North Carolina just south of the border on Rt 95. Do not plan on going back to eat at such a poorly run store as you have in the Richmond area.

DESCRIPTION: This restaurant was very pleasant and clean. The food was excellent and if you like that country feel this is the place to go. Also, they have wonderful nestalgia all around sort of like a museum. The staff was excellent and food was extremely fresh. Recommended dish was fried chicken and the pancakes were excellent. If you want that southern hospitality that's well known in the Carolina's and that down home cooking that your grandmother use to cook than stop by Aunt Sarahs Pancake House in Wilson, North Carolina. The staff is friendly, efficient and attentive to your needs. The food was hot & fresh and you could tell it was cooked with care not to mention delicious.

Great Barbeque
DESCRIPTION: Boyd's BBQ is authentic Texas BBQ. I have lived in San Antonio for most of my life and I thought I would never see great BBQ again. That was until my wife and I went to Boyd's. Not only was the meat tender and jucy, the homemade potato salad was delicious. My wife especially liked the carrot cake. We can't wait to go back.

DESCRIPTION: The food is good. I enjoy that, but the service is awful. I think that they need to hire more people to waitress. When me and my husband was there only 1 waitress was working the whole place. This other customer got up and served everyone coffee and things. And yes I really do believe that the people who work there are on drugs.
