Good healthy food
DESCRIPTION: This is a great place to stop after a long camping trip in the North Carolina mountains. The food is vegetarian and really good. Also, there is a very pleasant bar downstairs.

Macro In The Mountains
DESCRIPTION: I discovered this place by accident while shopping at the world's largest shoe store - which is only a few blocks away. The Seed is a rather modern approach to the world of health food restaurants. The peasant dresses and Birkis reminded me of my hippy past but the food was quite new and innovative. This was my first experience with fusion food - mine being Mex-Japanese. The macro dishes were outstanding and after having eaten there three time there was not one dish that I didn't love.

Outstanding
DESCRIPTION: A fun little place with lots of character, and the food is divine. My husband had a ribeye steak with raspberry habanero sauce it was by far one of the best dishes we've ever had. An incredibly enjoyable experience! Long live Chili Peppers!

DESCRIPTION: The Grove Park Inn is easily North Carolina's best restaurant west of Raleigh, and certainly is among the top in the state. In addition to regular dining, the Grove Park is known for their Sunday brunch. The times I've been were all outstanding, both in the meal and the service.

Grove Park Inn Needs to Quit Riding on It's Past laurels!
DESCRIPTION: O-K Grove Park Inn, get off that wagon in the past and start paying attention to the needs of your out-of-town guests and local guests! furniture and decor are falling apart. Everything is showing its age. Dining was expensive and mediocre. The staff were unprofessional and pretentious. The live performance in the lobby is much to be desired and the volume is always exceedingly loud. Hardly an environment for rest and relaxation! We've also dined at the inn's Horizon. It was exceedingly over-rated and over priced as well. It doesn't deserve the glory it gives itself. I dined at finer restaurants that didn't cost as much or was as pretentious! I don't mince my words. If an establishment desires to be known as world-class destination for dining and holidaying, it needs to atune itself to the needs of its guests, and it also needs to learn not to over use words like exquisite, superb, and world-class. Management needs to learn what those words really mean before using them!

Brunch Mother's day May 14 2006
DESCRIPTION: Fantastic food and superb service. Our server was so attentive and personable. She anticipated every need and desire. Presentation was beautiful. It can only be compared to special cruise presentaions and it was much better. Belgium waffles,omelets, and salad bar were fantastic.

Lovely Atmosphere, Good Food
DESCRIPTION: A very eclectic restaurant, in both atmosphere and menu. Tucked away on the second floor of a shopping plaza on South Boulevard, it's worth looking for. You can dine in the funky dining room, or out on the balcony/patio. It's a great place to take a date. The service is very attentive and knowledgable. Servers seem proud to work there. The food was delicious, though not outstanding. The crab cakes are wonderful however, and I highly recommend them. There is a full service bar, and they make a great cocktail. This is the perfect date restaurant, or a fun place to do a ladies lunch.

DESCRIPTION: Food's been great. We were engaged here two years ago and have been regulars since. Service can be slow on busy nights but mostly efficient and friendly.
