Great location bar
DESCRIPTION: Not a bad scene for the Pier. Great location, good food however service isn't as great as the Henessey's in Redondo. Sometimes it smells like a sewer. You pay for the location.

DESCRIPTION: Muldoon's have one of the most fabulous atmospheres you could ask for in an Irish-themed pub; Cozy, warm, but still fun-loving. Upon entering the doors, you descend into a starlit courtyard of tables for that outdoor ambience. As a regular customer, the service is great! It's the type of place where the servers remember your name. For lunch, I HIGHLY recommend the Tri-Tip Baked Potato. It is truly the richest, largest, and creamiest of baked potatos I've ever had.

Patsy's - Corned beef tacos and beer to knock your socks off
DESCRIPTION: A great alternative the normal strip mall cuisine. A proud family owned bar/eatery. Great atmosphere, good food, and lots of people having fun. Try Fridays, lots of good looking guys and girls having a grand ole' time.

Like coming home
DESCRIPTION: Authentic Irish and neighborhood pub. Owners, bartenders, service people all go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Must have stolen the "Soup Nazi" from Seinfeld. I've never had less than stellar quality - fish & chips are the best in the county, and the guinness stew is fantastic.

Great beer, food, people and the best Irish music in San Diego County
DESCRIPTION: The music is just great. The owner, Ned Giblin and his musical partner, David Lally, both from Galway, provide the best Irish music you will find in Southern California. They are frequently joined by guest artists; mandolin, fiddle and box players and percussionists - either way one hears it, the music is alternately great fun and inspirational. The jigs and reels Ned Giblin lays down on mandolin are just awesome. An experience not to be missed.

The best of the Irish
DESCRIPTION: Great Pub atmosphere and music by the owners and family. Cornbeef and cabbage is one of the best. Great appetizers and fresh beer on tap. Sure wish we had Caffrey's Irish cream Ale back in the USA. If anyone can do it Giblins will.
