Incredible Pizza
DESCRIPTION: Once you try this pizza, you won't want to eat anything else. Aurelio's Pizza has always been one of my favorites and for very good reason. Living in Chicago, it's easy to find good pizza places but nothing comes close to Aurelio's.

Aurelio's pizza is the greatest

Pizza good when consistent
DESCRIPTION: I have been to most Aurelio's locations, even, most recently the one in Henderson, NV., which is the best to date. Anyway, the product is different all over the Midwest and is very discouraging when you pay good money for an expected product and get something much different. ;( Homewood is good but good luck getting in.

Hometown Favorite
DESCRIPTION: Aurelio's IS pizza for many South Chicagolanders for good reason. The pizzas are crispy and flavorful with an excellent tomato sauce. Their pizzas are very addictive and the quality has stayed consistently excellent for over 25 years.

Aurelio's Pizza The Best
DESCRIPTION: I've been going to Aurelio's in Homewood since I was born. My baby picture is even on the wall. I'm now 28 and still can't get enough of the pizza. The sauce and thin crispy crust are to die for. I have visited a couple of the 40 locations but I always return to Homewood for the memories. Thank you Aurelio's and Congratulations on being voted Top Thin Crust Pizza in Chicago.

DESCRIPTION: The sauce is sweet and tangy,the cheese is umm-umm good,the crust crispy but soft, and meat is spicy but deelicous. Don't even get me started when it's all put together! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

DESCRIPTION: I've tried almost every pizza place within 30 miles of Dallas in the past 4 years and have yet to find any as good as Aurelio's. I miss both the food and the service at the Homewood location. And, man do I miss that sauce! I'd LOVE to have the recipe!

Great Food, Way too crowded
DESCRIPTION: We really love Maggiano's food, especially the Fettucini Alfredo and the chopped salad. It used to be so crowded and noisy that you'd come out of there exhausted, and it's still sometimes that way. Recently, it's been just a little less crowded, and they've started taking reservations, which is very good. The 'hostess' is too much like a traffic cop. The problems are all before you get seated; once you're seated, it's all worth it!

Family-owned Pizza at its best
DESCRIPTION: Proprieter Bill Poss, an Aurora legend, has created both a family place and an adult atmosphere with Luigis. Between the Skee-ball and the bar, there is also italian beef, great pasta, not to mention the pizza!

Fun more than food
DESCRIPTION: The food at Luigis is average, nothing to write home about. What makes Luigi's special is the capacity to occupy the kids while you enjoy the average food, and the ability to wash it all down with a beer or drink of your choice.

Terrible Service!
DESCRIPTION: My husband went to the Nancy's Pizza on Valentine's Day (this year). We ordered green peppers on our pizza but green olives were put on it instead. The high school girl behind the counter offered to put in an order for another pizza, but we did not want to wait yet another 35 minutes for our dinner. We paid full price for this pizza. Not free, no coupons for future use, NOTHING. I was terribly disappointed.

A Pleasant Surprise
DESCRIPTION: I was coaxed into trying this restaurant by a business associate and was a bit put off by the location (in a strip mall). One bite of my lunch and I was a convert! The portions were generous and the food was as delicious as I have had in far pricier restaurants.

Good Italian
DESCRIPTION: Oliveti's took us by surprise, after dining at mediocre after mediocre taco stand and coffee shop restaurants which seem to proliferate Des Plaines. Great quaint family run place, very welcoming. Good Italian food.
