DESCRIPTION: Of the Uptown sushi bars this one is far and away the best, second in the area only to Metairie's Shogun Restaurant. The sashimi is remarkably fresh and well-prepared, service is above par, and cooked specialties, especially the eel, are done just right, and eating there won't break the bank. Skip the California Rolls and go for the house specialties including the Ninja Roll, Rainbow Roll, and ultra-hot Devil Roll. Check the specials board for any nigiri or sashimi that are offered, they're usually extraordinarily fresh and worthwhile. Try to make reservations and eat on the second floor if possible. It can accomodate moderately large parties and has a bright, pleasant atmosphere; the first floor has a seedy dinginess to it.
