The Dry Dock Cafe is the best in New Orleans
DESCRIPTION: Coming from the mountains of northwest Arkansas and looking for good seafood, we were invited to try the shrimp bisque and gumbo. In addition we were served a spinach and artichoke dip that was outstanding. The taste and quality of the food matched the personality of all with whom we came in contact. "Mo" has everyone beat for knowing what it takes to run a fine neighborhood cafe and bar!

Fantastic food and atmosphere
DESCRIPTION: Sunday, Feb. 2nd, 2003 a guest and I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was delicious. This was my first meal at Sal & Judy's. The portion was huge and the meatballs were the size of oranges. The waiters were very accommodating and polite. I can't say one negative thing about our dinner. I can understand why it's sometimes difficult to get reservations at Sal & Judy's. It's because the word has gotten out that it's a fabulous place to eat.

Always a Good Time
DESCRIPTION: I've been eating at Sal and Judy's for over ten years and have never been dissapointed. The portions are large, the food fresh and well prepared, and the atmosphere warm and comfortable. My favorite appetizer is the crab claws by a long shot. And their shrimp scampi with fresh green beans is divine. I know most people wouldn't think to order meatballs and spaghetti at a nice restaurant, but this is the meatball to end all meatballs. My other family favorites are the trout almondine and any of their steaks. Make reservations at least two weeks in advance, especially for a weekend.

DESCRIPTION: This place tops all restaurants anywhere in the world. I have eaten all over the country and Sal and Judy's is the best. The best dishes are the ones not on the menu (daily specials). The seafood is the best quality always and the food is consistant. Bring your appetite because the portions are huge and the price is cheap.

Great Food!
DESCRIPTION: Just went to this place over the Halloween weekend. The food and service were impeccable. I don't think I could have taken a sip of water without it being immediately refilled. The wine list is nice but very few European wines. They do not rush you through your meal by bring the next course even if you have not finished the previous. Definitely go. It is worth it.

Our Worst Experience EVER
DESCRIPTION: I should preface this by saying my wife and I were not dressed up. We had just left the boat ride out on the river, but, we were invited in by the manager out in the front of the restaurant, so we entered. The first thing the waiter asked us was "how do you plan to pay for your meal?" That should have been a warning. My wife and I combined earn over $100K, so we can afford it. The service went downhill from there. The food itself was excellent, but the portions were TINY, and the service was non-existent. I voiced my complaints to the owner before we left, who promised to "talk to the waiters involved", but didn't seem interested in our experience in his restaurant. There are many, many excellent restaurants in the French Quarter. Don't waste your time (or money) on this one.

DESCRIPTION: My wife and I visited the restaurant last night, and the service was terrible! We had a waiter who didn't know how to open a wine bottle, a helper who served ice cold bread, the veal chop was a piece of fat. My wife had the duck , and that was good. Zea Rotisserie Grill
DESCRIPTION: We wish that there will be another Zea Cafe across the river (Westbank). Great Food
DESCRIPTION: We eat at Zea Rotisserie Grill regularly. The food, service and atmosphere are excellent. We were seated right away at 2:00pm but it is rather difficult at noon. Everything we've eaten has also been very good. We wish that we could get the recipes.
