Not only a Green scene...
DESCRIPTION: Before trying La Loma restaurant, I had heard pepole rave about their green chili. Problem is, I only eat RED chili due to family custom. On my way there to eat for the first time I was told by friends I was with that I would be disappointed as the restaurant was so well known for their green chili, that there would be no other option. Well, they were way wrong and I was pleasantly surprised. La Loma does give you a choice or green or red with your meal and their red sauce is quite tasty. It's a sin that locals have fallen for the "trendiness" of green chili and don't know what they're missing by not trying the red stuff at La Loma. It has just the right loudness to its flavour and Pepe, our waiter, kept the Negro Modelo coming at just the right pace to quench the fire. The restaurant also has a full service bar with top notch staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. Prices tend to run a little higher than some Mexican restaurants in the area, but portions do seem larger.
