Great food, Good entertainment!
DESCRIPTION: This is by far the best Middle Eastern Restaurant I have found. Large buffet with great appetizers, Kabobs that melt in your mouth, the Beef kabobs are terrific! Nice mosaic tables. Native Iranian handicrafts and spices/music are also sold there. The waiter "Eddie" has always been very attentive. This is about our 20th trip to AliBaba and everytime we come to Central Florida we make time for the great food!

Excellent Food, Excellent Service
DESCRIPTION: Fantastic Mediterranean fare. Among the best that I've had. Plenty for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. The people are friendly and accomodating and very attentive to their customer's needs. The buffet is a great way to try many new and exciting foods, but $12 is slightly pricey as one plate of the food and a bowl of soup was even too much for me to finish and I generally eat quite a bit.

The Greek is Sweet
DESCRIPTION: When you enter this restaurant, you hear loud music and sight people dancing on tables. Everybody having a good time and never want to leave. It's a typical Greek restaurant that has the best waiters and waitresses which I know them all because I go there a lot. I wouldn't go there every Friday night because then it's not an adventure anymore.

The Truth About Opa.
DESCRIPTION: I've gone to Opa about 6 times so I think I know it enough to write a quick review. Here's the truth about Opa... It's very crowded, the music is too load (the sound system has no bass), the service stinks and most of the waiters are rude. The food is good and if you can deal with the fact that they do not have A/C inside, you may just have fun.

Are You Kidding J-Cue?
DESCRIPTION: I bet you have an exciting life? You must be somewhat slow if it took you 6 visits to find that out. Yes, it's crowded, yes it's noisy, and yes the food is great. But thats what makes it fun. The energy is amazing and the waiters are nasty because they probaby have to deal with your kind! I recommend Opa to anyone who simply wants to have a great night out.

Had a Blast.
DESCRIPTION: It was our first time at Opa - we had a GREAT time!! When we walked in I was wondering about the napkins on the floor, but soon found out what that was about. Food was wonderful, atmosphere was even better! Our server was extremely attentive. The music was rather loud, but once you got used to it, no problem. People dancing on the tables, belly dancers, what a blast! Even my dad and mom had a great time and they're in their 60's. We'll definitely be back! The only downside I saw was that the valet parking was extremely unorganized.

Best Party Place
DESCRIPTION: This resturant is great food, fun, and dancing. It's perfect for teens, especially if they can't go to any nightclubs because they get the opportunity to dance and have a great time. The belly dancers deffinately added to the experience. My best friend is having a party there this weekend and it was me who recommended it...he must have tried it out! :-D

Opa!
DESCRIPTION: What a fun night! I took my boyfriend there for his 21st birthday and it was our first time there. The atmosphere is awesome! The belly dancers, the loud music, the energetic waiters add to a fabolous dining experience. My boyfriend and I even danced on top of someone's table. I would recommend Taverna Opa to someone who wants to experience a different, fun, energetic atmosphere.

Not all that!!!
DESCRIPTION: DO NOT LOOK AT IT AS A DINING PLACE look at it as a Bar w/ food and music and you'll enjoy the evening better. Went 2x, service was RUSH, RUSH, RUSH.....because they need to turn tables quickly or one can occupy a table for 2 to 4 hours. Waiters were not attentive at all. Overall, a Bar atmosphere; they should not have dinner they should just serve appetizers. Did not like the food, and you really have to be on top of what you order; they "can make a mistake" and charge x-tra food/drinks on your bill.

lesters diner is still number one in my heart
DESCRIPTION: Lesters is THE landmark hang out in South Florida for all walks of life ... truckers, clubbers,families, everyone goes there!!!! Anyone who hasn't been there in Ft Lauderdale must be a hermit. Our local media's first stop on public opinion is Lesters diner; and the owner of lesters is the most giving charitable greatest man alive (Peter Dogagis). He cares for his customers; and they always get what they want, even if he has to cook or create it himself. He works very hard; he devotes his life to that place and it shows!!!!!
