This place is bad
DESCRIPTION: After waiting an hour and forty min. to get food the bartender didn't know how to make a margarita? At the beach? Secondly we had this waitress that messed up with the wrong beer twice, and brought out burnt burgers nearing 11ish. We ate them anyways, three plates were left untouched. The manager didn't apologize, wouldn't accept what we had to say and shrugged us off towards the door.

DESCRIPTION: Any tired surfer, weather beaten sailors, love-hungry farmers, slightly tipsy Irishmen will find themselves at home in the friendly, unassuming, relaxed surroundings, just off the beach. Staff are superb especially Morghan, legend has it her sister is just as good looking!! The food is delicious and cheap, you can play the juke box all day whilst sipping cans of cool Bud or if you're the adventurous type, challenge yourself to a game of photohunt!! All in all a delightful experience, an all-American bar that does exactly what it says on the tin.

DESCRIPTION: Just completed a Thursday evening, packed house dinner at the new Tyrone location. The environment is warm and friendly. Service was excellent, as was each perfectly cooked dish. This combination is nearly impossible to find in a chain restaurant. Not a single flaw could be found. The dessert tray is over the top! (Note the Italian humor on each restroom door) Even reading glasses are available for those who may have forgotten theirs! I hope this level of excellence can be maintained.

DESCRIPTION: I've only eaten here once, so my viewpoint isn't very well rounded. I had lunch there and the coconut chicken strips. They were too crispy and difficult to eat with the coconut stabbing me in the mouth as a result. It was nice and quiet though at that time of day and I was able to read a book for a while.

big changes at Cherrys
DESCRIPTION: Been to Cherrys many times. It's pretty obvious it's under new management since November. was there during construction in January 06 when the fireplace was lit. Looks like a good place for a group to have fun. Food, drinks and service outstanding. Another bar in the waiting area...and the deck is totally renovated. That's my favorite part because you can see Greenwich Bay and the boats. just a few feet away are the rocks to sit on and walk on the beach (yes, romantic too!) or the walking path. glad to see new owners adding a new touch to this place. the location is priceless.

DESCRIPTION: We had reservations for 4 for 7PM last Saturday evening (10/27/01). We arrived right at 7 and were told that it would be "just a few minutes". About 7:20 we asked again and were told that "we were next". We finally were seated at about 7:40. Granted, Saturday is busy. But, it would have been nice to have been told the truth so that we could have gone into the lounge for a drink. Others were still being told "just a few minutes" as we waited. When we were seated it took about 10 minutes before the waitress came over. About 5-minutes later we ordered. She was very accommodating to some changes. We ordered a bottle of wine at the time. About 10 minutes later our salads arrived. We had to ask for water refills. Our salad was done by the time the wine arrived. Dinner was then served. Great food as always. But, the waitress did not even come by to see how things were. And, again, we had to ask for water. This experience is similar to one a few months ago. Prior to that the service equalled the food quality. It does not seem that is the case now. Maybe the Roseville restaurant market is too good! Hope the service improves as I love the food.

DESCRIPTION: Whenever we have guests from out of town that love good steaks, we take them to Carver's. At times the wait is long, as all restaurants in Roseville, but service and atmosphere are 4 star. We've had the filet, NY, and prime rib and all perfectly cooked and seasoned. My favorite salad is the spinach with toasted almonds, cranberries and sliced red apple. Would love the recipe for the honey-mustard dressing, which is just right.

DESCRIPTION: After dining at Carver's in Roseville for several years especially at Thanksgiving and other annual special occasions we were much disappointed on 11/28/03. Everything has always been excellent but yesterday (Thanksgiving) was different. Although we were seated promptly the service was poor. The Thanksgiving dinners were very much reduced in quantity over previous years. One of our party even ordered steak, their specialty, and the order was not done properly and had to be returned. Other requests for service were very slow. The wine was brought to the table after the meal was half completed. An additional sauce was requested and delivered with only a single bite of the entree remaining. Too bad to see a fine restaurant going the wrong way but maybe it just wasn't my day.

DESCRIPTION: We had dinner at Carver's in July 2004. The service proved to be disastrous! The white wine we ordered was brought by a waiter who didn't notice the wine was warm! When I asked him to take it back, he was very unhappy! It took him quite some time to return with the wine. The steak dinners we ordered were nothing special, and some of the food was cold. Our waiter seemed much more comfortable schmoozing with two local customers rather than paying attention to us. Maybe he was worried that he might have to take something else back. DESCRIPTION: This is NOT the place for special occasions; i.e. popping the question anniversaries and so on. They have a very immature hostess staff to greet you. Don't count on your reservation to be entered correctly. And certainly don't expect to be seated in a timely fashion; a 20 minute wait regardless of your reservation. Servers not much different than those at other famliy style restaurants. Food is on par with the cheaper restaurants down the street, Tahoe Joe's and Outback. Carver's is an average steakhouse in an nice building trying to play like the Big Boys.

DESCRIPTION: I have been to Carver's on several occassions and it has been consistently great. It is always my first choice for a romantic dinner with my wife. We always order the rib eye steaks because they are the most tender and flavorful cut of beef we have ever had at a steakhouse. Expect to spend about $35/person (not counting alcoholic drinks)

Great Place to enjoy
DESCRIPTION: Although this restaurant is inside an office complex it still presents a nice atmosphere. I like the separate bar area. Restaurant is smoke-free except in the bar/lounge area. Service is outstanding. Great place to have lunch or dinner. A lot of well known Minnesotans dine at Kincaids. Try their other location in Saint Paul. There decor is classy and upscale. Try the Saint Paul Grill and WildFire if you like to eat at Kincaids.
