Hungry?! You'll never leave unsatisfied!
DESCRIPTION: I tempted myself with the "Rodizio" - all you can eat mouthwatering skewered meats. It came with all you handle black beans, and flavorful rice. The Portuguese bread kept coming. Perhaps the best part of the evening is you are NEVER rushed out. I have eaten here a dozen times so far, and only recieve the check when I ask. Perfect!

Still amazing
DESCRIPTION: Still one of the favorite restaurants I've ever eaten at; it's been a family meet-and-eat place since before my childhood and I got to introduce my wife and daughter to Iberia this weekend. Many, many wonderful memories flood back, and some new ones are created, every time I go.

My all-time favorite place to eat
DESCRIPTION: Iberia really is the best restaurant in the area, by far. I honestly don't know how they make any profit on their lunches. The lunch portions are HUGE, and salad/bread are included. You will not be able to eat all the food you get at this place unless you're Paul Bunyon. Their seafood dishes are especially good, as are the roasted meats and rodizio. The vegtables are never your typical soggy, dull restaurant fare - but are usually creatively prepared with a unique sauce or otherwise. I give this place 5 stars!

Honest Opinion
DESCRIPTION: The food at Iberia is really good I have to say, but the service was terrible I've never been more disrespected at an establishment. I asked for rice and he pointed at the soggy french fries and wouldnt bring me rice. Then my waiter gave me the check and turned his back to me until I was ready to give him the check.

Jersey's best Portugese Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: The first time I went to Iberia was in December of 2002. I live in Honolulu, and was visiting family. The food was great, as was the service. The waiters were very distinguished, polite and totally attententive to my every whim. All I had to do was raise my eyes, and one was there. I am very weight conscious, however, not that night. If it was not for the bad company that brought me to this fine restaurant, it would have been the highlight of my vacation! Upon leaving (far too soon) Our waiter kissed me on the hand and hoped that I would return before returning to Hawaii. And this was after he'd received his tip! Suddenly, NJ didn't seem so cold anymore. I returned two weeks later with my cousin from New Rochelle, NY. With my wonderful escort, it was the best time spent in NJ. I returned in 2005, and they remembered me! I tasted a myriad of everything . The seafood was the freshest I'd ever eaten, and the various meats melt in your mouth. I am returning in March to NJ on business, but my first stop will be Iberia. This time, my flight will originate in Canberra, Australia, and I'll be thinking of their king crab legs all the way!

Great Rodizio - Where's the salad?
DESCRIPTION: I go there for the Rodizio, which is terrific. Make the effort to sit near the kitchen so you get the meat when it's hot. (Not in the back dining room where the meat can get cold). So here's what's stupid... For 4 people, you get the a small bowl of salad, enough for 2. They want another $4 for another bowl of salad. Why can't you get unlimited salad if their going to give you unlimited rodizio? By the way, get the Portugese potatoes only.

Do not go there for New Years Eve
DESCRIPTION: Last night, New Years Eve, My husband and I paid $100 each for what was the worst new Years At Don Pepe. I was served cold Lobster... it was awful. The tables were so crammed in, you could not get up to dance. The buffet was poorly laid out, there was food on the floor, we never did get calamari, the service stunk, we had to ask for eveything twice, and the music stunk. We feel very ripped off along with the other 15 guests at our table.

Great
DESCRIPTION: The food flavor, texture and presentation are great. Portions are very large. The waiters are helpful and can answer questions about the menu. Plates are cleared away quickly and I have never felt rushed. The restaurant is clean and has a distinctive style. Patrons that frequent the restaurant are clever locals that are pleasant and welcoming. You get a good deal for the price and I highly recommend it. It is a great place to go with a group. In my experience, reservations are not needed except holidays

Ironbound quality at neighborhood prices
DESCRIPTION: Read about this restaurant here and decided to try it. BLOWN AWAY... Truly - Newark quality Spanish food at incredibly reasonable prices. Sangria was fresh and delicious, Paella Madiera - wonderful. Guests enjoyed the Lemon and Garlic Shrimp - huge, tasty and cooked perfectly. Even the desserts ordered (which we normally don't) were a taste treat. We fed 5 people for JUST OVER $100. Great Value!!! AND... The service was impeccable. Highly recommend Los Molinos - Try it, you'll be pleasantly suprised.

Go to the Ironboud
DESCRIPTION: Tried it when it first opened. Instantly turned off by the fact that the "non-smoking section" was in the same room (no partitions) as the smoking section. As far as I'm concerned, that means no non-smoking section. When I requested that a diner next to me in the "non-smoking section" put out his cigarette, I was met with resistance by the customer, and a smirk from the waiter when I complained. Wasn't impressed with the food since I was comparing it to the restaurants in the Ironbound section in Newark. Smaller portions, bad service. Decided to give it another chance recently. Still got the "non-smoking section" joke going on, and the food and the service were the same as when I first ate there. Go to Newark! The train station is three blocks away from Portuguese/Spanish food heaven.

This place is awful
DESCRIPTION: This place is nothing like the reviews. The waitress was rude and appeared to be upset at something. The food was plain and overpriced. We ended up paying almost $50 per person and left the place feeling ripped off. It was on a Friday night at 8 pm, and there were hardly any people there. After dining in the restraunt we understood why.

A Meal from a Box
DESCRIPTION: I recently ate at Los Molinos expecting, what else, a Spanish-style meal. What a disappointment! In Spain, the food is fresh, the staff is courteous, and the wine is fantastic. At Los Molinos, the staff was rude and unfriendly, my vegetable paella was straight from a box of prepared rice and frozen veggies, and they had no wine list. They had two kinds of wine, they said: yes, red and white. The prices, however, were as high as those in a good restaurant, which this is definitely not. What a rip off!

Las Tapas is Great
DESCRIPTION: This is the first place I had tapas, and after this I have tried tapas at multiple places and nothing has come close to this place. Great home cooking
DESCRIPTION: I know it was open in the early 70's, but it was just rebuilt and it looks great. Now they serve the same Spanish home cooking menu in a fresh, new, clean and all around much better place. It added a full service bar with happy hour from 4 to 8 pm daily.

A Little touch of Spain
DESCRIPTION: From Tapas to Sherry, and everything in-between, one of my family's favorites for an evening of good food and music! Friday, Saturday, and maybe Thursday, they have live entertainment. Excellent! But the food is the real star here. If you want to spend the evening sampling Tapas and sipping Sangria(very good!), you will think you are in Barcelona. And the main courses are creative, but not overly fru-fru(is that the way you spell it?). Something for everyone. Enjoy!

Fantastic
DESCRIPTION: The food was great, the atmosphere dimly lit and romantic, the music upbeat Spanish, and the waitstaff extremely gracious and attentive. We are relatively new to the area and had watched a local Boston TV broadcast spot outlining the Wingate Street section of downtown Haverhill and its revitalzation. This small bistro is nestled among quaint shops and cafes along Wingate Street. A definite visit to Wingate Street and Bistro 45 is required whether you're a local or are in need of an escape from the hustle and bustle of the Boston scene.

Fantastic Food - Great Service
DESCRIPTION: Jaleo is one of the best places in the area. I've gone at least a half-dozen times. If you don't mind the wait, try the paella - but make sure you come hungry! Lot's of seafood and saffron - the rice is creamy and perfect. They also have one of the best selection of tapas you will find anywhere. I highly recommend the steamed mussels. They also have a smoked salmon dish that is incredible. If it is cold out, you can also try the fishermans chowder - it is a great starter any time. The waiters and waitresses treat you very well and the service is top class.
