Hidden Treasure in Boonville
DESCRIPTION: This small restaurant was a delight to come across located upstairs in the Village Mercantile Shop in Boonville, IN. You order at the counter and a very friendly man takes your order and welcomes you if you are a first time visitor, suggests the Shaker tomato pie which I agreed too and it was excellent. My husband got the chicken salad on a roll which was also good but the tomato pie was exceptionally good. They also have many salads to go with the entrees and many homemade cakes for dessert. The sitting area is small but clean and quilt pieces are put on the table from the Quilt shop downstairs. If you should ever want a surprise eatery go to Victoria's Tea Room from 11-2 Tuesday thru Saturdays. And get there early because a lot of items were already gone at 12:30 because so popular.

New Tea Room and Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: Wow! A great place to get fine Italian Food and a Tea Room included! Afternoon Teas by appointment and great Southern Italian cooking done right. We had a great time and really enjoyed the elegant atmosphere of the Hamilton House, but the food is the real attraction. Very reasonably priced and large portions.

Romantic Dining
DESCRIPTION: Quiet, candle lite romantic dining in the center of town. Soft music playing in the back ground. Different way of dining. The food and service is excellent.

ok if you like shelbytucky italian food
DESCRIPTION: I was very dissapointed in the food!!! I grew up in Indianapolis and we used to eat at the old Italian Gardens all the time and I remember how good the food used to be. I thought I would give it a shot when it moved in here in Shelbyville. Well was I ever wrong!!!I ordered chicken tetrazzini, well it was made with FRIED CHICKEN. Well needless to say I will not return to the Italian Gardens again.
