Not as good as I remembered it...
DESCRIPTION: The first time I ever had Thai food was at this very restaurant about 8 years ago and I fell in love with it. After relocating back to the area now, I had to come back for more, but we sure were disappointed. First we got take out which was inedible. We figured it was a week night and perhaps the regular chef was off so we tried to eat in. I got the shrimp dumplings as an appetizer and they were crunchy...apparently they missed taking the shell off of the shrimp. Then my favorite dish Pad Thai was tasteless. What a disappointment. We won't be going back again, 2 strikes and it's OUT!!!

This Place Is Awesome
DESCRIPTION: This is a great little 'mom and pop' Thai restaurant. On my usual visit, I'll order the fried rice with shrimp and chicken which sounds somewhat boring in comparison to other dishes they serve, but it is extremely tasty. They have a scale for spices which range from 0 to 5, 5 being maximum spice. I like spicy, so I usually go for 2 and that's enough for me. (Any higher and I get a sweat mustache. Ha.) They serve very nice size portions and the meal always comes out good and hot. I would highly recommend that you stop in if you happen to drive through or live around the Millbrook/Prattville area. They are open for lunch until about 2ish and open back up at 5:00pm for the dinner crowd. Bon appetit. :-)

A Must-Try Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: We frequented this place a lot when we lived in Millbrook last year. It's a wonderful restaurant - best Thai food we've had since visiting Thailand. We've taken many friends there, and everyone has raved about it as much as we do. We definitely recommend trying this restaurant, as everything we've had has been delicious. This is the restaurant we miss most now that we've moved away from the Montgomery area.

Thai Palace is wonderful
DESCRIPTION: OK, so I may seem a little biased because my aunt and uncle own the restaurant, but it's just absolutely wonderful. My uncle is from Thailand, and he brings in some of his own traditional family recipes, as well as the common ones you'll see in every Thai restaurant. As for the common Thai dishes, all the people that eat at the restaurant claim that his food is a lot better than any other Thai restaurant they have been to. My aunt and cousin are the waitresses/cashiers, and they will always greet you with a smile and welcome you warmingly. I recently moved out of the area into another state, and this is one of the things that I miss most. I now have to settle for the typical Americanized Chinese food as it's the closest I'll get to this place!

If you only eat at one Thai restaurant...
DESCRIPTION: ...this is THE one you should try. Everything is absolutely fabulous, from the restaurant setting, to the courteous, personal service you enjoy, to some of the most wonderful authentic Thai cuisine you will ever have. The Pad Thai is fabulous, as are their appetizers and their curry dishes. I feel like I am back in Thailand having dinner when their cuisine hits my taste buds! Go back to try other dishes -- you'll be glad you did!

Prepare to wait...... and wait
DESCRIPTION: The decor in this restaurant is a treat to the eyes and creates an authentic feel. There is an assortment of Thai travel brochures when you walk in and this is important to know because you will be looking for something to read while waiting for your meal. This reviewer waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before my food was ready to go. Luckily, when I came home to open the food and finally had a taste, I discovered that it was worth the wait. We ordered the Gang Phed Ped (Crispy Duck with Red Curry), pot stickers, Chicken-on-a-stick(Satay), Massaman (Brown Curry), and fresh spring rolls. The portions were large and the food was a carnival of taste in your mouth. I would suggest this restaurant if you are looking for a small casual relaxed dining experience and if you are patient and don't mind waiting... or phone ahead with a take-out order.

A Thai Resturant loved by Thais
DESCRIPTION: My wife (who is Thai) likes the food there - which is always the best "review" I know of. In general she doesn't like Thai resturants in the USA because the food tends to be too salty and not hot enough; but she likes Sawatdee when we are in Minneapolis for a visit.

DESCRIPTION: New in town (March, 2001) and I believe the first Thai restaurant here. They've done a lot with excellent decor and a limited, but excellent, menu. In addition to the traditional favorites of curries, Pad Thai, Mee Grob, Sweet & Sour, they also have a very tasty series of peanut sauce dishes such as Panang. Also, a small but servicable wine list (a Carmen Merlot is not bad for only $15). If there's any complaint it's that they may be priced too low by a dollar or two

A Real Treat
DESCRIPTION: Excellent Food. Everything on the menu is very good, but the pad thai is my favorite. The grouper with garlic sauce is also great. Good service and a warm ambiance.

DESCRIPTION: I tried the Chicken Pad Thai. My guest had the Panang. Both our 1st time. The flavor & texture was delicious & wonderful. The presentation was also delightful. Quite a variety of delight. It arrived hot from the kitchen. The food was fresh in taste. The food was just right with spices & not too spicy. The atmosphere was casual with a touch of class. It was discreet. It was original for Ocala's taste. The portions were just right. No waste & quite generous.

Excellent Thai Restaurant
DESCRIPTION: I have frequented a great many Thai restaurants (mostly in the NY area where I am originally from). I feel extraordinarily lucky to have found a Thai restaurant of this Caliber here in Central Florida. Every dish I have tried (about half the menu thus far) has been extraordinary. Please try this restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Ocala!
DESCRIPTION: I've eaten at Ayuttaya's many times- often once a week, sometimes more. Their service is always top notch and they go out of their way to accommodate our special requests. Their food is excellent, tasty, and always fresh. I like Tofu Basil, Red Vegetable Curry, Tofu Ginger and Vegetarian Spring Rolls the best. (Can you tell I'm vegetarian?) Meat-eating companions always walk out happy also. The prices are very reasonable. The ambiance is very nice- tastefully decorated, and pleasant music. We've never left disappointed, and we've probably been there more than 40 times.

Best Thai For Small Town
