Good Bombay Snack food
DESCRIPTION: This is a new place that opened last year serving Bombay Snack food and South Indian dishes. The food has consistently been fresh and delicious every time my family and I go. We are Indian and have pretty high standards when it comes to the food, and they have always met our expectations. The dosas are very good too considering they are a Bombay establishment and not a Madras one, and we know our south indian dishes too. My dad loves the rava dosa and my mom loves the masala dosa, all crispy and crepe-like with the yummy potato filling. I prefer the bombay chaats and blel puri. You can tell they are fresh. The service is wonderful and the atomsphere is very comfy and warm. Lots of Indian families on weekend afternoons enjoying the food without the hassle of going to Edison. Go there for some good satisfying and economical fare. Thanks!

Why the price increase?
DESCRIPTION: I love going to this restaurant and especially enjoy the buffet. The food is very fresh and while the selection is a little limited, it is very tasty. I have noticed that the price of the buffet has gone up twice now, I believe. In my opinion, the Indian Buffet in Lawrenceville serves a more rounded buffet and outshines this one in overall quality and now, price. The atmosphere and the chairs also leave a little to be desired. Plastic cups are a little unexpected "cheapness" that is not reflected in the prices. It is great to have a good Indian restaurant in the neighborhood but, I will drive a little farther to save a buck and get better food when I have the time.

A nice Chat food place
DESCRIPTION: Bombay Delight is a good Chat food. They seem to have redesigned their interiors now and it looks much better. The collection of Old photos of Mumbai/Bombay is worth a look if you are from Bombay!! PROS: Most food items are tasty, buffet is good, the Chats, and Bhel Puri is real good. CONS: The plastic cups for serving water is "cheap". I was suprised to see they serve champagne, but don't have any glasses for it!! Too few waiters/waitresses when it is crowded. Overall, if you are not in a mood to go to Edison, you can give it a try for sure!!

Delicious, clean, spicy amazing Indian food
DESCRIPTION: I have ordered for Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chilli, Chicken biriyani. These item have all tasted wonderful and amazing. I have eaten at so many other Indian restaurants in the US. I feel the food I ate at Bombay Delight has been the best. I am sure all other food items will also taste great.

Breadmen's
DESCRIPTION: Breadmen's is located on a college campus, and this is reflected in the atmosphere to some extent. The restaurant itself is clean, as are the bathrooms, and there is very little in the way of noise. In my experience, the waiters and waitresses have been courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu. At the time I first dined there, I was a vegetarian, and I found that I had no difficulty whatsoever in finding an adequate selection. Although I am no longer a vegetarian, I continue to choose the vegetarian burger rather than steak, hamburgers, or chicken dishes when I visit the restaurant. The only potential flaw I have seen is that some of the food is unusually high in cholesterol, which can be a disadvantage because it takes a strong will to visit Breadmen's without overeating.

Breadman's
DESCRIPTION: I have dined at Breadman's many, many times. I recently had an experience there that has caused me to never set foot in that restuarant again. Upon receiving my favorite dish (pancakes) at Breadmans, I found a hair it in. When pointing it out, the owner never apologized, although he did offer me new food. When I said that I shouldn't have to pay for the food as I didn't eat any of it, he became very rude and very loudly threw me out of his restuarant after taking me into the kitchen to point out that most of his employees had black hair. The hair I found was blonde -- waitress was blonde, other food handlers were blonde.

Awesome Food!
DESCRIPTION: I always make a beeline for Breadmen's whenever I am anywhere near Chapel Hill. I love eating here not only because of the food, but also because of the waitstaff atmosphere. They look like they just love their jobs. They really attend to repeat customers by remembering drink orders from past visits! Breadmen's definitely has the best omelets in town because you can throw random stuff in there like turkey and broccoli. I have NEVER had a bad experience with any waitstaff. One time my fries were cold and they brought me a new batch. Another time I just didn't like the BBQ sandwich and they let me order something else with no hesitation and didn't charge me for the BBQ. Despite these negative reviews, everyone NEEDS to visit Breadmen's and make a decision! You'll be glad you did.

Great Beer and Pizza
DESCRIPTION: My girlfriend and I have been to Mellow Mushroom twice in the last month and each time we enjoyed a great meal. There is a great selection of eclectic pizzas, as well as a variety of micro-brewed beers that really hit the spot. The first time the service was perfect, and the second time, one of our pizzas took over 30 minutes longer than it should have...so they gave it to us for free. I love this place and talking about it has made me decide to go there tonight.

The hottest cafe in Silver City
DESCRIPTION: I've been dining at Vicki's for little over a year. It has much more of a relaxed environment now with the new owners and everyone is so happy there. The food is fabulous-- the soups, the desserts are out of this world, and the specials are... well, you must try them for yourself-- but mark my word, they'll have you coming back for more. Kudos to Chef Gilbert and Miriam.

Still overall the best in SIlver City
DESCRIPTION: Vicki, in my opinion, was the best cook/chef in Silver City and no one comes close to her soups, specials and desserts (including the new cook/chef there). She spent most of her time in the kitchen and the quality of the food she created reflected that. That being said, the new owners have kept her excellent menu and have done quite a decent job of maintaining it, with just a couple exceptions (German Potato Salad does not seem the same, and the dolmas are always loaded with raw garlic instead of just the hint they used to have). The new owner seems to keep his focus up front and the atmosphere and feeling of the restaurant reflect his presence in very positive ways. In my opinion, it's been a bit of a trade off. Still my favorite menu in town and it's done well. Soups, specials and baked goods have fallen some, and the mood/atmosphere is brighter. Overall, still my favorite.

Unknowledgeable Staff re: Handwashing
DESCRIPTION: I am a registered nurse and a frequent subway sandwich buyer. I have been recently turned off by the Subway staff-not washing hands properly. They wear gloves (most of the time) and then they use the same gloves to do the cash and then continue making subs with gloves that have touched dirty money and other equipment in the store. I have even seen employees just rinsing their hands with water (no soap) and just putting the gloves on with soaking wet hands. It's absolutely disgusting! I have often made comments politely to employees. They often get offended. I'm sorry but if I'm paying for the food I want it to be clean. I'm actually quite curious what the employer teaches the employee. It may not be the employees fault after all. Being a nurse, I may be more petty than the average Joe. But if the average Joe knew the diseases and germs that can be spread from lack of hand washing they would feel the same way. Thanks, Nicole Thompson
