Enough to make you give up mushrooms forever
DESCRIPTION: Nice idea, but easy to overdose on their cuisine after a single meal there. Overbearing use of mushrooms and tofu (used to make fake meat dishes) is enough to make you give up those things for a long time. A nice choice for many vegetarians, but I will have to pass.

I like it a lot!
DESCRIPTION: I had a totally different experience from Hawknoah. My husband and I and another couple went there last Saturday, and all of us enjoyed the food a lot. The assorted platter appetizer was especially delicious. The tofu hot pot was very tasty as well, though a bit sweet. I had a macrobiotic garden plate, which was wonderful. The portions are large. I think two people can share one dish.

Vegans, Vegetarians, and Meateaters Love Vegetable Garden!
DESCRIPTION: My vegetarian pals have raved about this restaurant for years. Now I know why. Despite my flesh-eating ways, I could know now that I could leave on a meatless diet and still maintain the macho muscle on my 6-foot, 195 pound frame. The food, from the appetizers to the main courses, makes me a return customer. While many of the dishes are based on soy, I was impressed that is didn't have that "yucky" soy aftertaste. Their cooks use commonsense and creativity to produce meals that must have been conceptualized in heaven. This is absolutely the #1 healthiest vegetarian restaurant in America. I urge all bonafied vegetarians and vegans to write about their little secret. Vegetable Garden rules.

DESCRIPTION: I just recently became a vegetarian. My girlfriend, a vegan, turned me on to this place. I have not had one disappointing meal. The service is outstanding and the food is absolutley delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Its good. Really good.
DESCRIPTION: I eat everything- meat, vegetables, you name it. This goes beyond just being a good vegetarian place- its a good restaurant, period. Better than Yaun Fu down the road (that Buddhist place).

Delicious
DESCRIPTION: I really like this restaurant. I had food at Yuan Fu and while I like both places, I think The Vegetable Garden is better. I have had the veggie gumbo, sesame beef, orange beef, gyro and curry supreme and enjoyed all of them immensely. I recommend this restaurant to all my vegetarian and 'open minded' meat eater friends. As a matter of fact, I am headed there today for lunch.

DESCRIPTION: When One World opens its doors in 94, I was a semi-regular, and spent many hours there throughout the spring of 1995. It changed ownership a few years back, and lost a little charm, but it's still great ambiance, and a great location.

This is a Chinese restaurant?
DESCRIPTION: I finally got a chance to visit the Confucious Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away (in fact, almost hidden! ) in a tiny stip mall on Compass Way. The restaurant interior is divided into two main sections; a larger area where there is a buffet set up and a smaller, more intimate area. We sat in the smaller area and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, relaxing music and the subdued, yet colorful mural on one of the walls while there. Our order was processed promptly and arrived soon after being placed. The food was hot and delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine establishment to anyone who likes Chinese food and appreciates a quiet, relaxed atmosph

Best Food in College Park
DESCRIPTION: In between the same old chain junk, Ratsies is original. They spend money on quality ingredients, not decor and advertising. The food is great. The people are peaceful and friendly. By far the best dining in college park if you don't mind the dorm room atmosphere.
