DESCRIPTION: Nice selection of vegetarian items. Great nachos and burritos. Make sure you check out their monthly specials. Also a great place for a weekend breakfast (Huevos con Chorizo and gourmet coffee!). The service varies from so-so to ultra-sucky though. Be prepared for an "eccentric" crowd. Reasonably priced.

Cute place don't go beyond the appetizers
DESCRIPTION: This is a cute, hep place, which makes many overlook its serious problems. The menu, especially the monthly specials, look interesting, but they really don't know what they are doing. The appetizers are often good, but the main courses are always a dissappointment (e.g., plastic wrap still on the fish). There is a nice beer selection.

One of a kind
DESCRIPTION: Their monthly specials are often something you never heard of and cannot get anywhere else (in the US anyway). The stir fry is the best around, especially the Indonesian peanut! Rarely have had a bad meal there over several years of visits. Although, like most small places near college towns, sometimes the help is still in training which may affect service. If you get an experienced waiter - no problems! Great beer selection.

When enough is enough.
DESCRIPTION: I had heard that this establishment had the best food on the east side from one of the past employees. I went in after Labor day 2004. I knew that it would probably not be busy. It wasn't, it was around 9:30 pm. I met a gentleman at the door who I found later was an owner, was extemely into himself, and liked quips that actually offended, after I was was seated by him. It took an eternity, to get any service. After I placed my order everything pretty much came out at once, i.e. soup, salad, entree. The steak was over cooked, and tuff, the shrimp cocktail, totally unpaletable, tuff, and I thought bad. The wine appeared, which came long after my entree. The waitress stated she forgot. All said, and done I left most all the food, and drink when I heard the owner, whooping, and hollaring, "Oh yeah babe!!!" With a couple of his friends, whistling, and being extremely loud. I left 10%, and said nothing I was actually a bit afraid of the surroundings.

30 years of fine food
DESCRIPTION: We have been going to Dimitri's for since the 1970's. From their great hamburgers to their juicy and huge onion rings, to their fantastic seafood, to their outstanding crab salad, they have been a consistently great destination for diners. This is a terrific place for any occasion. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

DESCRIPTION: I recently went to the Good Food deli in Troy, MI from the urging of a friend and let me tell you this is the best place to eat healthy/organic/vegan food. It's more of a cafe. They have great lunch specials,Soups, sandwiches,veggie burgers,salads(all sorts), and they also do fresh org. juices/wheatgrass. Evrything was prepared fresh and the taste was out of this world. I honestly was blown away at how good the food tasted. The atmosphere is really nice as well. You see all types of people, you get people of all races, you get business types, etc etc. The service was great, I came there once, and on my second visit the deli employee greeted me by name as I arrived. Very personal service. The chef herself comes out and asks you how everything was when she gets a free moment. All in all, I was surprised. Om Cafe and the Inn Season are wonderful but Good Food's Deli/Cafe is decidedly better. Even if you don't like healthy food, this place is still great. The chef knows how to use herbs and spices to make everything taste wonderful. The reson why this place isn't as well known as the others is because it is located inside of a store and they don't advertise. Give it a look, you won't regret it.

Vegetarian Indian
DESCRIPTION: Very cheap, very vegetarian (vegan?) Indian restaurant. Fresh, but very dull food. I'm not vegetarian, but eat at some vegetarian restaurants for the food, but never have been motivated to return to Mysore. If you're looking for a cheap vegetarian meal, Mysore might be worth a try.
