Golden Bamboo-best authentic food ever
DESCRIPTION: I have found the TRUE meaning of authentic Thai, Laotian, and Vietnamese food here. Their dishes are so full of flavor, hitting every taste bud I didn't know I had. This was one of the best Thai restaurants I have ever been to. The prices were excellent, while the service is really entertaining and atmosphere is laid back and family oriented.

One of the two best Vietnamese Restaurants in the State!
DESCRIPTION: Pho Tuong Lai specializes in fresh, heart aromatic soups- Pho- the famous beef noodle soup, spicy noodle soup- featured on Friday nights and Saturdays and lastly, but not least- the chicken noodle soup- on Sundays! You have to come early on Sundays to get a bowl of the chicken noodle. Many of our customers go across the street to catch a movie at the Crown Theater. My mom (yes, the chef is my mom) also specializes in goi cuon (fresh spring rolls that you dip into fresh peanut sauce- a secret recipe of hers!), egg rolls, shrimp rolls and many other sauteed dishes- everything is made fresh to order! Even if you're a vegetarian- we have fresh veggies and tofu to satisfy your taste buds!

Excellent Vietnamese Cuisine
DESCRIPTION: Perhaps the best Vietnamese restaurant in greater Hartford area. Execellent summer roll, beef Loc Lak, lemon grass dishes and curry. Freindly and efficient service. Sparse interior.
