Really nice food
DESCRIPTION: Everytime I've gone to Tu-Do I've had great food. Many Vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. This stuff is usually piled high, too.

My favorite Asian
DESCRIPTION: The Viet House is a gem. Where can you get a wonderful Vietnamese dinner in lovely surroundings for way less than fifty dollars for two AND be greeted by name as if you were a high roller? I love this place. Their duck soup is to die for. The beef stock is made from scratch. The spring rolls are the best - bar none. These people would never serve a wilted bean sprout.

Quaint Restaurant and Great Food
DESCRIPTION: Le Jardin is a favorite place to dine while in Deland. If you never have, you should definitely check it out. They have an interesting mix of French and Vietnamese dishes and do both exceptionally well. Always be sure to try the special, it's usually a delicious French seafood dish, like salmon stuffed with lobster in a cream dill sauce. The food and service is consistent and reasonable.

Crooked
DESCRIPTION: We went there about a year ago with a friend who ordered dinner and decided to order just a dessert. We were charged more for the dessert than the normal price, ($7.00 for a single scoop of ice cream!!!) because we hadn't ordered dinner. A woman who was either manager, owner or both had made this decision and she indicated it was because we hadn't ordered dinner. Besides being illegal to charge different prices to different people, it is unethical and I have since recommended to many not to eat there.

DESCRIPTION: My (now) husband met my parents for the 1st time (when we were in college) at the Le Jardin! So yummy! And the Owners are wonderfully attentive :)

Consistently Good Vietnamese Food
DESCRIPTION: My family and I have dined at this restaurant over twenty times in the last two years and have always walked away happy. I have enjoyed their service as well as their food, although not dramatic, and perhaps somewhat Americanized, still encased all of the asian elements that I seek including dishes with cilantro and coconut curries. Recently they have moved a bit further down the street from the college and have added sushi, which I understand is more to bolster their bottom line, but we feel that their food is always worth the 20 minute trip for us. We also like Chopsticks in Gainesville which I feel has the best Yom Nuer (Beef salad with cilantro, nam pla, etc.)

Great curry
DESCRIPTION: a little expensive for the portions, but still very good. Great curry, fabulous summer rolls, an all around great meal. And they deliver. And they have sushi. Daily specials are good, and cheap, too!
